Peter Brant – traditionally my second-favorite Brant brother – has suddenly jumped to the number one spot with his super-amazing ad for the new Givenchy campaign. Yeah, yeah, yeah, everybody’s talking about Kendall Jenner scoring the gig, but I think these pictures show who the REAL star of the campaign is. YUM! Look at those chewy lips!

Besides, we all know how Kendall scored the lucrative contract.

[Kendall Jenner's] mother and infamous momager, Kris Jenner, posted a photo on Instagram announcing her daughter had landed the Givenchy ad, which also doubles as her first fashion campaign. This might not come as a surprise, however, as Givenchy’s head designer is Riccardo Tisci, otherwise known as one of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s best friend. The designer also acted as creative director behind Kim’s most recent wedding dress. But Kendall has been making a name for herself in the fashion world, having walked the runways of Chanel and Marc Jacobs, to name a couple. The supermodel also has been named the face of Topshop

Haute couture! On Dolls! Oh, what I wouldn’t have given to have these growing up!

Last month, Dior unveiled its Le Petit Théâtre Dior in Chendgu, China (open until the 20th of June). It’s the first stop of a travelling exhibition, inspired by Théâtre de la Mode (the iconic 1945–1946 touring exhibit of tiny fashion mannequins crafted by top fashion designers to show Parisian fashions to post-World War II America). Now, Dior has created 12 fashion dolls to retrace the history of the House and present miniature versions their most famous dresses. Minutely sewn to exact specification, they resemble the originals down to the tiniest detail. Watch the videos below to witness the incredible craftsmanship that goes into every flower, every bead, and every gold-embroidered thingamajig. Absolutely breathtaking.

In the ateliers, time seems to have stood still: the embroidery is done by hand, as in the 18th century, and the silk flowers are born between the fingers of an artisan with quasi-botanic exactitude. On the original Miss Dior  dress designed in 1949 or on its miniature version, produced specially for the exhibition, bouquets of rose, jasmine and lilac burst into bloom. In order to arrive at such a result, the petite main  perpetuates a legacy that has remained intact; the fabric petals are cut out by hand with a punch tool and the embossing is done with a period tool that ensures both perfection and astonishing realism. Fixed around a brass stalk, the petals become a flower as they’re worked by expert hands with a fairy-light touch. The details might be miniature but the savoir-faire  remains grandiose,  as evidenced by the spectacular dress Mexique  from the fall-winter 1951-1952 collection in brown tulle embroidered with gold sequins and beads highlighted by a dark brown velvet ribbon on the bust.

The gilded set is swooning today as Europe’s leading fashion icon ascends to the throne of Spain. Yes, the impossibly glamorous Queen Letizia and her handsome hubby King Felipe VI of Spain formally acceded to the throne today after Felipe’s father, the scandal-hit King Juan Carlos, tearfully signed the official instrument of abdication at midnight last night.

It was a sad end to a 39-year reign for King Juan Carlos. He took over the throne in 1975, two days after the death of longtime dictator General Francisco Franco, and halted an attempted military coup in 1981.

But he fell out of favour when it was revealed he had been on a big-game hunting safari.

The new monarch and his wife, Letizia, and their two daughters are being ferried through Madrid in a low-key affair after a brief military parade to their first official engagement.

The beautimous Letizia was born a commoner (gasp) and was a divorced TV news anchor (double gasp) when she met and married the hunky Prince Felipe. Since then, her every step, her every outfit, and every flip of her hair has been breathlessly documented by the fashion press who regularly fall over themselves trying to describe her fabulousness. And it’s true. She’s amazeballs. She makes the Duchess of Cambridge look like an old scullery maid.

(And please note the three outfits for one day of ceremonies – now that’s a fashion diva!)

And such a gorgeous family! Those two little princess, Leonor and Sofia, are the stuff of fairy tales, aren’t they? Obviously one good and one bad. Look at the expression on the one in blue in the bottom pic. She is TROUBLE. And ,oh, the drama that will swirl around them as they get older. I hope I live to see it.

That’s all you need to know about full contact skydiving, the latest in extreme sports that combines the discipline of mixed martial arts with the intensity of skydiving. “You need to pull your chute by 4,000 feet,” explains yummy idiot Urijah Faber, “And there’s no tampering with equipment (UH, I WOULD HOPE NOT – editor)” but everything else is on the table. Gay Bears in Croatian Zoo Can’t Get Enough Oral Sex

They are kinkier than the average bear! A pair of male brown bears at a Croatian zoo have been engaging in oral sex. A lot of it. Over the course of 116 hours of recent observation, the animals engaged in fellatio 28 times. That’s about one act of fellatio for every four hours, with each act ranging in duration from 1 minute to 4 minutes. Niiiiiiice.

So what’s the problem? Well, it’s just odd, that’s all. Bears don’t usually service each other in that manner, unless they’re kept in substandard conditions with inadequate behavioral stimulation. But the Croatian bears seem to have been “kept in proper conditions.”

So why would these animals be engaging in this kind of sexual behavior? A likely explanation is that the bears were orphaned at an early age.

We suggest that the behavior may have started as a consequence of prematurely curtailed maternal suckling when these bears were orphaned as cubs. Brown bear cubs suckle their mother for milk, bonding, and comfort … Orphaned bear cubs may suck their own or their sibling’s body parts, such as paws or ears, as a substitute for their mother’s nipples. In the case reported here, the provider may have found a substitute for teat‐sucking that also resulted in a let‐down of substitute “milk.”

The early-aught almost-stars are back minus their biggest asset (Ashley Parker Angel). “Skydive” is a perfectly serviceable song and video, complete with all the standard boyband tropes you’ve come to expect (slo-mo walking in the desert, blurry shots of backlit boys in profile. standing in a car to denote freedom, crying scenes from multiple angle) and Erik-Michael Estrada tries his damnest to be the SEXY ONE, but oh how we all miss Ashley. I mean, come ON. What the hell was he doing that was so important he couldn’t rejoin the group? I follow the bitch on Instagram, and SHE’S GOT NOTHING. Get your ass back for the tour and grovel to be part of the NEXT comeback album.

His voice conveys all the subtle nuance to make this character ONE FOR THE AGES. If you haven’t seen the trailer, DROP EVERYTHING and watch it now. It’s really something.

About Alex is The Big Chill for millennials. Period. You’ve got all the young it-actors (Aubrey Plaza, Jason Ritter, Max Greenfield, Jane Levy…) as college friends reuniting for a three-day weekend after one of them attempts to commit suicide. As the movie progresses, old crushes are reignited, old resentments come to the surface, and painful memories are yada yada yada. It’s a “searing look at the changing nature of adult friendships.” I might have aged myself out of this movie because, frankly, the idea of a bunch of 20-somethings mourning their lost youth sounds annoying as fuck. But it might speak to you, I don’t know. You ought to have an opinion about it either way, so watch the trailer below. (On a side note: Sort of feel like this was written a loooong time ago and took forever to get to the screen because, really, how many millennials sit around and parse Bruce Springsteen albums any more?)

Alan has since deleted both the initial tweet and apology tweet. Neil Patrick Harris had a similar reaction in April when he tweeted about a photo shoot he had just finished with Richardson for Rolling Stone, calling it “so fun” and a “bucket list moment.” He deleted the tweet soon after. And don’t get me started on Gaga and HER reaction. These stars acting like THEY HAD NO IDEA, they’re SHOCKED, omg TERRY? has some sort of SCANDAL attached to him? Please. It has been public knowledge FOR YEARS. Everybody quietly backing away from him, pretending they’re just learning about it now, is a crock of shit. I’d respect these stars a bit more if they just said they believed his side of the story and they believed in his art. That, too, would be a lie though BECAUSE THERE IS NO ART TO POSING SOMEONE AGAINST YOUR WHITE WALL WHILE AND SNAPPING A KODAK DISPOSABLE CAMERA AT THEM. (via BuzzFeed)
