Luci Day, a 6-year-old Captain America superfan, had no problem taking the franchise’s villain, actor Sebastian Stan, to task in an interview with HuffPost Live on Tuesday.

“How does it feel to be a traitor to Captain America?” the super fan probed, adding “He used to be your friend!”

Stan, whose film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” comes out April 4, offered Lucy a valid answer — but not before remarking, “She’s so sweet!”

Lewis Tice, a longtime champion of queer cinema and longtime friend of WOW, died suddenly yesterday. He was just 44 years old. According to IndieWire:

Tice passionately worked in various capacities within the industry throughout his career.  He launched and guided many films to success including Latter Days, Another Gay Movie, and Mysterious Skin for TLA Releasing, where he worked as Vice President of North American Operations at the time of his death.

Lewis also worked at over 20 film festivals including Sundance, the Chicago International Film Festival and Frameline. He served as a film programmer at the Philadelphia International Film Festival and QFest Philadelphia, and also produced several feature films including, ‘BearCity,’ ‘Longhorns’ and ‘Blood for Irina.’

His partner Kevin Kelly had this to say on Facebook this morning: “I just wanted to let everyone know what’s going on. My partner, Lewis Tice, has passed away very unexpectedly. He had been in his office in NYC for the past couple of weeks working, he was due to come home next week. They are speculating it was natural causes, I should know more in the next couple of days. I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers during this time.”

Tice was featured in the WOW documentary When I Knew, talking about the moment he knew he was gay. Apparently, he and his best friend LOOOOOOOVED Bruce Boxleitner (lol) and one night they were pretending to be Bruce and Kate Jackson in The Scarecrow and Mrs King – so ’80s, I love it – and while they were kissing and rubbing up on each other – VOILA! He realized he was gay. Watch the clip below.

Writes TLA Entertainment Group CEO Derek Curl: ”Lewis has been my closest colleague for over 10 years. He was there for most of my firsts in the film business, protecting me from the sharks and introducing me to the people he knew…which was everyone. It is a devastating loss to me personally, to LGBT cinema and to all the filmmakers that relied on his kind soul and glorious laugh to get them through. This most sweet and talented man will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know and work with him,”

Does she do anything except go to parties any more? Is she an actual singer in other countries? Is she racing up the charts with NEW, FRESH MATERIAL everywhere but here? Because I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. And I think what drives me MOST BANANAS, is that I WANT TO GET ON THAT GRAVY TRAIN. I want that life. I want to be an A-lister with the career of a Z-lister. It seems like there’s VERY MINIMAL work involved and a just great deal of partying and playing dress up.

In a new BuzzFeed interview, Drake Bell… wait. WHO? Drake Bell, of Drake & Josh fame (of course) goes on the attack, lashing out at Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for their aggressively nutty fan base and their rapid rise to super stardom, saying “There’s just a lot of really young, entitled people” in the music biz.

“I don’t think a lot of these young people have to work very hard. They’re found on YouTube and, boom, thrown into the studio so they think they can get anything they want. Ariana Grande is a billionaire before she’s been an artist. You have to work to be able to appreciate what you have, and what work did she ever have to do in her life?”

“And I can’t stand that, with a lot of the pop stars, there’s this idea of ‘Are you in our clique? Are you a Directioner or are you a Belieber? Oh, you’re not in our gang? Then you’re not cool and you need to go in a hole and die. I don’t understand it. And what’s worse is artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber don’t come out and say, ‘I love having you as my fans, but you shouldn’t be acting this way.’ They just eat it all up, and I think it’s repulsive.”

“If I catch one of my fans saying something improper, a gay slur or any derogatory term, I instantly tweet directly at them and say, ‘This isn’t how we do it. Lady Gaga, who says she’s so anti-bullying, was on [Howard Stern's SiriusXM show] and Howard read all of these awful, awful tweets her fans had been sending him, [and] asked how she responded to her fans doing the exact antithesis of what she stands for. She said, ‘You have to understand, Howard, it comes from a place of love. They don’t want to see me get hurt.’ I couldn’t believe she didn’t take a second to address her fans and say how disgusted she was they’d do something like that. But none of them do that. Justin Bieber just tweets, ‘Yeah, Beliebers, go hard’ when they’re attacking somebody. Ariana Grande’s fans told Perez Hilton that he and his son needed to die and get cancer, and she just fed it. It’s disgusting.”

From writer/director Gia Coppola (and adapted from the book of short stories by James Franco) comes Palo Alto starring James Franco, Emma Roberts, Jack (son of Val) Kilmer, Nat Wolff, Chris Messina and Val (father of Jack) Kilmer.

Palo Alto weaves together three stories of teenage lust, boredom, and self-destruction: shy, sensitive April (Roberts), torn between an illicit flirtation with her soccer coach (Franco) and an unrequited crush on sweet stoner Teddy (Kilmer); Emily (Levin), who offers sexual favors to any boy to cross her path; and the increasingly dangerous exploits of Teddy and his best friend Fred (Wolff), whose behavior may or may not be sociopaths. Looks interesting. Very SOFIA Coppola-esque. Says Slate:

An inclination to eye-roll this one — to dismiss it as a well-connected director teaming with an overexposed actor — is understandable but premature. For one, though Franco suffers from a sometimes grating self-importance, his commitment to a role, whether it be a marooned biker or dreadlocked drug lord, is inarguable. Second, though the bildungsroman is a shopworn genre, every year a gem—last year’s The Spectacular Now, for instance—emerges with heretofore unseen insight, and the whole coming-of-age experience becomes new and bracing and impactful again.

Palo Alto could be that film this year, as it opened to rave reviews on the festival circuit. Coppola, for her part, seems to have copped some technique from her aunt: the neon lettering, understated depiction of adolescent chaos, and wry teen-speak all bring to mind The Virgin Suicides andThe Bling Ring. We’ll see if she can step out of her family’s shadow come May 9.

Ahead of Sunday night’s highly anticipated fourth season of Game of Thrones (omgomgomg), audiences across the world are asked to help bring down a 15-foot-tall statue of the mad King Joffrey that has been errected in Auckland, New Zealand – by using Twitter. Fans are asked to use the  hashtag #bringdowntheking in their Game of Thrones tweets. A rope will be positioned around the King’s neck, and with every tweet the statue will be one cog closer to toppling. Organizers expect it to take five days or one million tweets to pull the statue down.

Travis Dunbar, Sky Television’s director of programming, says:

“Game of Thrones is a worldwide phenomenon and King Joffrey is quite possibly the most hated fictional television character of all time. It’s exciting to give fans an opportunity they are dying for; to assist in the demise of the King of the Iron Throne.”

Fans will be able to follow the campaign via bringdowntheking.com and watch as the boy-king statue eventually falls via the webcam live stream. (via Stuff.co.nz)

And it OBVIOUSLY led to bigger and better things. And speaking of big things, I bet the girl who let him go is regretting it now.

Also of note: Alternate Mark Wahlberg sure looks good. I never paid much attention top him in the ’90s – too busy obsessing over the obvious prettyboys JTT, Andrew Keegan and the Lawrence Bros – but looking back, he was SOMETHING.

I cannot, in good faith, endorse these GIFs of Kenny Brain flopping around in his underoos. They’re hot, no doubt about it, but he’s just so damn problematic. You know the story, right? How he’s gay and out and proud, HOO-RAH, but for the show he’s pretending to be straight? Because he thinks that’s how you win the game?

From the start, he’s let viewers know the truth, explaining in the show’s diary room that he is gay, but that he’s playing it straight to get further in the game. He thought that he would have more of an advantage with the girls in the house if they thought he was “showmance” material.

Apparently, though, pretending to be someone he’s not for more than a month has proved too much. On Monday, he broke down to fellow contestant Sarah Miller, saying “This is the first time in my life I’ve ever hidden who I am … I don’t want people to watch this and do the same thing. I needed to tell someone or I was going to die.”

Well, boo hoo. You shouldn’t have started such a shameful charade in the first place.

Says The Calgary Herald: “And that highlights what’s at stake here. Kenny might be doing it for the game, but he’s also sending a message to viewers of the show, which skew young, that being gay would hold him back. For decades, the LGTBQ community has fought for basic human rights, for recognition that one’s sexuality shouldn’t be grounds for discrimination. Kenny is taking those hard-won rights and shoving them back in the closet. And that’s not right.

When it comes to reality TV, it’s not correct, either. Luke Adams has competed on The Amazing Race three times and never hid his sexuality. What does he think of Kenny’s gambit?

EXACTLY. It’s a terrible thing to teach young homos, JUST TERRIBLE, sets us back DECADES. And it’s not even a winning strategy! He just might be the biggest gay villain since that OTHER infamous Kenny, Ken Mehlman.

But, oh man, whatta bulge.
