Looking like 10 miles of bad road. Whooo. No judgement about the morning booze run, though. Been there, done that. But BABY, YOU’RE A STAR! You were in Tank Girl! You can’t just be trawling the streets LA dressed like… an extra from Tank Girl. This is unacceptable. There are LOADS of former stars who manage to keep up appearances. Sharon Stone comes to mind. Maybe take a page from Sharon’s book and dress UP! UP! UP! for your next trip to the liquor mart. Hire a stylist and a makeup artist! Get your hair done before-hand! See what a difference it makes! The beardy hunk tells Variety he’s “ready to leave acting behind” and take up directing full time. 

Chris Evans looking all kinds of delicious on the cover of Variety this week. The beard! The muscles! The darker hair! And… how do I put this delicately?… SO MUCH hair. Not to be catty but… remember how he’s been saying that he’s going bald? And he didn’t know what to do about it because Captain America was supposed to be “this superior human. He can’t be balding… How horrible would it be if this superior man has male pattern baldness?” Doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore. I hate to be THAT guy, but is that a Bosley hair line I see up front? JUST PUTTING IT OUT THERE. As a bald man, I tend to obsess over these things.

Anyway. Anyway. Moving on. In the mag he says he wants to retire from being in front of the camera. “If I’m acting at all, it’s going to be under Marvel contract, or I’m going to be directing,” he says. “I can’t see myself pursuing acting strictly outside of what I’m contractually obligated to do.”

Of course, that can’t happen for some time. Over the next several years, he will clock at least six more appearances as Captain America in Avengers and Captain America sequels.

“Without these movies, I wouldn’t be directing,” he says optimistically. “They gave me enough overseas recognition to greenlight a movie. And if I’m speaking extremely candidly, it’s going to continue to do that for as long as the Marvel contract runs.”

There seems to be a law of diminishing returns on these “Bad” movies. Bad Santa was brilliant. Bad Teacher was mildly entertaining. Bad Grampa had a few giffable moments but was otherwise annoying. Now comes Bad Johnson, which looks to be one of the worst movies ever made. Like, so bad it’s Mystery Science Theater-worthy. And yet. And yet. In it’s monumental terribleness, it might also be the MOST AMAZING MOVIE ever made. Cam Gigandet stars as a puppy-faced pretty-boy who just can’t keep it in his pants. He’s a serial cheater, see, but he feels bad about it. So one night he wishes his dick would just leave him alone. And, lo and behold, IT DOES. It just up and leaves his body and retools itself (HA) into a person. Nick Thune to be exact. Then it becomes a buddy comedy wherein Cam tries to stop his old penis from causing too much trouble, because, you know, IT’S A DICK, and it’s inherently id-driven, ha ha.

Promise me you’ll watch this trailer at least three times, and re-post it on Facebook and Twitter. It’s important to send Hollywood a message that it needs to do MORE MOVIES about Cam Gigandet’s penis.

Singing cartoon dimple David Archuleta has just returned from a two-year Mormon mission in Chile. Has it really been two years? Seems like yesterday he was sent on the religious journey to, presumably, pray the gay away. Anyway, he’s back, a little older, wearing an ill-fitting cheap suit, and sadly looking like the guy Andrea Zuckerman married on Beverly Hills 90210. But… why does he always seem like he’s about to burst into tears? Is it because he fell in love with a little migrant worker boy down in Chile? Whom he proselytized to every night? And it was the happiest he’s ever been? Now he’s back, living with his mean old father? I’m just guessing. But you know… I often think there’s A LOT to the David Archuleta story we don’t know. I think he’s kept in a dog cage and fed old banana peels and coffe grinds. I see it in his EYES. But that’s an investigative report for another day. For now, let’s just celebrate his return. Yes. My baby’s finally back. That’s all that matters. And it’s SO good to see him.

This is interesting: In Bangkok, a subculture of men have started cosplaying as Mexican gangsters after seeing images of them on the internet. Their clothes, hairstyles, and tattoos are all inspired by criminal gangs in Mexico and the US, and have even formed their own gangs – Balcony Pain, Fratez, and D Sixty, to name a few. But here’s the thing: they don’t do it to be thugs. They’re nice boys. They do it because they like the clean and simple ganster aesthetic and the brotherhood mentality. Most of them, in fact, hold nine to five jobs as teachers, policemen and bureaucrats and have to ask their wives’ permission before getting inked.

When asked about how he got into the whole ‘Mexican gangster style’ dressing, Eak said: “I listened to hip hop and watched videos on YouTube. Also, my aunt who used to live abroad told me about it.” He also mentioned that Mexican style reflects his life very well. “I think I’m going to dress like this until I die,” he declared. Being part of the gang isn’t just about dressing though, he said that he found true friendship with his fellow gangsters. “Since we’re in the same ‘gang’ everyone loves one another. Before we never knew each other and were even enemies, but now we can hang together.”

“I am Ter D Sixty. During the day, I work in an office,” said one gang member. “At night, I’m a Mexican gangster. I’m a gangster at heart.”

“I Wanna Get Better” is inevitably the song of the summer that we will all be SICK TO DEATH of by July, but for now, it’s still unbelievably catchy. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this video for almost a month now, and was OVER THE MOON when it showed up on YouTube this morning. Too bad it’s  so… on the nose? Jack Antonoff is a therapist, sitting in stoic silence while his patients — including Parks and Rec star, Retta — talk about their various problems. They wanna get better, see. *Eye roll* I was hoping the video would be a bit more buoyant, a bit more challenging. Unfortunately, it never really takes off. Skidmore College, a private liberal arts college in New York is offering a Miley Cyrus course this summer! The course is called ”The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media” (AKA the only class I would ever willingly take!) and it will be taught by Carolyn Chernoff (AKA total bad ass). The class will focus on Miley Cyrus, of course, and will touch on topics such as gender, race, class, fame and power. This GENIUS idea sparked when Chernoff taught a youth culture course that featured Miley’s iconic 2013 MTV Video Music Awards twerking performance! Looks like I will be moving to New York for the summer…don’t worry, I’ll live tweet during each lesson!

L’Wren Scott, the fashion designer who took her own life earlier this month, has left her estate of $9 million to her longtime partner, Mick Jagger, and nothing to her family. The 49-year-old designer bequeathed her $8m apartment, which she owned under a corporate name, and $1m in other valuables to Jagger, according to the New York Post, which cited court papers.

“I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles, and other tangible articles of a personal nature, or my interest in any such property, not otherwise specifically disposed of by this will or any other matter together with my insurance on the property, to Michael Philip Jagger. I give the rest and residue of my estate to my Michael Philip Jagger. Except if otherwise provided in this will, I have intentionally omitted to provide herein for any of my heirs living at the date of my death.”

She specifically stated that she did not want her family to receive anything. Scott has an older estranged sister, Jane Shane, and an older brother, Randall Bambrough and both of her adoptive parents are dead. The contents of Scott’s will do not specify the overall state of her finances at the time of her death. Mick’s personal fortune is estimated to be in excess of $300 million. Great. Just what he wanted, I’m sure – the apartment where his girlfriend killed herself and more money. What a sad shame. Some time back in late November after a night of drinking with some friends I came home and decided to check out/r/bitcoinmarkets to talk about Bitcoins. As you can see in this thread I was so sure of my drunken predictions that I offered to eat a hat on video with ketchup if I was wrong. Well, I was wrong. Bitcoins and alcohol don’t go well together. Lesson learned.

Here is the often-painful 46-minute video where Anndddyyyy systematically devours his hat. He does so by cutting it into pieces and working them into a sandwich.

Here’s how he did it:

I did it in 3 phases. I had every intention of doing it all in one meal until a friend of mine who’s in nursing school expressed genuine concern because the digestive system doesn’t break down cotton.

My stomach definitely felt “off” after each time and it gave me a weird headache. I didn’t notice any hat pieces in my poo so maybe she was wrong?

Next up we have the hunky Jamie McDonald who is celebrating the launch of Taco Bell’s morning menu by eating 18 Taco waffles which, brrrp, looks reeeeally disgusting. He looks like he’s about to lose it near the end, but by God, he pushes through… even when he runs out of water to wash it down with.
