Its been a bustling 24 hours in pop culture. Catch up with all your favorite superstars, including a dazzling Kate Upton at the Other Woman premiere, John Malkovich looking CUH. RAY. ZEEE. and OMG, WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN RITA ORA TO ME?
Kate Upton, Cameron Diaz ,and Leslie Mann arrive for the premiere of The Other Woman in London, and Kate is SLAYING IT in that superfab William Vintage dress with its asymetrical neckline. I hope she’s good in the movie. And I hope she becomes a HUGE MOVIE STAR.
John Malkovich – in a Very! Blue! Suit! – seems to be doing his best Schleprock impersonation. Anybody? Anybody? No Schleprock fans in the house?
Poppy Delevingne at the preview of The Glamour of Italian Fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. People get all goofy about Cara, you know, but for my money, it’s ALL ABOUT Poppy. She’s the sister to watch. Just check out this Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2014 dress. It’s TO DIE FOR.
Rita Ora , also at the V& A wearing… whut. I don’t know. I don’t know. It’s Cavalli. It’s a white, fringed leather dress with studs and a fur collar. And it sort of seems like something Pink would have worn back in the days. Or Lita Ford. Or Auntie Entity. I imagine it’s awfully fun to swoosh around in, but DEAR GOD, what an eyesore. And somebody please explain to me how it is we’ve been blogging INCESSANTLY about Rita for OVER A YEAR NOW, and every designer is just THROWING their most fabulous pieces at her EVERY NIGHT, and she has yet to have anything REMOTELY RESEMBLING a career in the States? Does she do anything except go to parties any more? Is she an actual singer in other countries? Is she racing up the charts with NEW, FRESH MATERIAL everywhere but here? Because I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. And I think what drives me MOST BANANAS, is that I WANT TO GET ON THAT GRAVY TRAIN. I want that life. I want to be an A-lister with the career of a Z-lister. It seems like there’s VERY MINIMAL work involved and a just great deal of partying and playing dress up.
Jesse Bradford at the LA premiere of 10 Rules For Sleeping Around held at the Egyptian Theatre. And hmmm. He’s not quite the same strapping lad we first met in Bring It On and Swim Fan, but I’m not mad at him for aging, I guess. I’m just going to treat this as an excellent opportunity, though, to drag out the old Bring It On GIFs and luxuriate in some fierce aught nostalgia. Enjoy. (Photos: Pacific Coast News)
