Jean Paul Gaultier has Blighty on the mind this season, and the results are BLOODY BRILLIANT!
Look! Look! HOW FABULOUS! The clothes this season are all eminently wearable – punky daywear with lots of mad plaids and British flags and such – things that you could actually pull off without looking like Anna Piaggi or Isabella Blow. It’s like super-high end Trash & Vaudeville (is that still a thing? Do kids still wear Trash & Vaudeville?). It’s fun and fabulous and the models are to die for. I love the cut-rate Carmen Dell’Orefice (wah-wah) and the mustachio’d ginger. And I need, need, need that Union Jack puffy coat (even if it adds TWENTY POUNDS, I’m sure).
